Orchard Fruit Preserves with ‘Waste Not Rowen’
Sunday 05 October 10am-12:30pm (half an hour for the orchard tour, and 2-hour workshop)
From jams and jellies to chutneys and tonics, this workshop will use seasonal orchard fruit to teach you the art of harvest preserves. Under the careful direction of food waste advocate and preserving expert Rowen Halstead, you’ll visit the Museum’s heritage orchard before making fruit preserves to take away in our fabulous Demonstration Kitchen.
Refreshments provided and participants are entitled to a 10% lunch discount in the café.
