Let the kids go wild at Forest School!
Our Forest School is a unique opportunity for children to explore the glorious woodlands of our 84-acre site at the Food Museum. Designed for ages 6–11, our sessions help children develop confidence, self-esteem and social skills through hands-on activities in nature.
Using natural resources, children will build, create, play, and investigate — sparking imagination and curiosity. They’ll also make new friends, enjoy woodland crafts and cooking, all under the guidance of our trained Forest School practitioners.
Forest School suits all abilities, but is especially beneficial for children who may find the traditional classroom challenging or who need a boost to their confidence.
Please ensure your child comes dressed for adventure: clothes should protect them from heat, cold and scratches, and be comfortable for a full day outdoors. Remember it can be cooler in the woods than expected.
Ages 6-11, all abilities welcome.
